Instructions

Make the Cocktail

  1. Fill a shaker with ice.
  2. Add gin, orange blossom simple syrup, a few drops of bitters, and lime or lemon juice.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Rim your favorite cocktail glass with sugar—use a citrus wedge to moisten the rim of the cocktail glass, then dip the glass into the sugar (place sugar on a small plate or shallow bowl).
  5. Pour the cocktail into the glass.
  6. Float with sparkling wine, and garnish using dried citrus slices, chrysanthemum, eucalyptus, rosemary, mint, or any edible flower or herbs.

Notes

  • To make your own orange blossom simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water with a few drops of orange blossom water and simmer until dissolved.
  • For dried citrus slices, slice citrus thinly and bake at 200°F for 2-3 hours until dried.
